Beijing: China’s express delivery sector handled 145.08 billion parcels in the first nine months of 2025, reflecting a 17.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
According to Namibia press Agency, China’s broader postal industry, which encompasses express delivery services, managed a total of 158.26 billion parcels during this timeframe, marking a 15-percent rise from the previous year. Between January and September 2025, the postal industry’s business revenue surpassed 1.31 trillion yuan (approximately 184.72 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of 7.7 percent year on year.
Specifically, revenue from express delivery reached 1.09 trillion yuan, which is an 8.9 percent increase. Same-city express deliveries accounted for 11.87 billion parcels during this period, reflecting a 4.3 percent year-on-year growth, while cross-region deliveries surged by 18.6 percent to 130.17 billion parcels.
