A 40-year-old man is in a critical condition after the sedan vehicle he was driving collided head-on with a bus on Friday.
According to the Namibian Police Force’s weekend crime report issued on Monday, the accident happened on Friday between Mururani in the Kavango West Region and Grootfontein in the Otjozondjupa Region.
It is alleged that the bus had 47 passengers on board but no one was injured, while the driver of the sedan was the only occupant in the vehicle.
The driver of the sedan was seriously injured and was transported to the Grootfontein State Hospital and was later transferred to Windhoek, where he is in a critical condition.
Police investigation on the cause of the accident continues.
