The Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (Nored) has announced a power outage that will interrupt electricity supply in some parts of the Oshana Region on Saturday, from 07h00 until 19h00.
Nored in a public notice on Wednesday said Megatron Company will do maintenance on the Ondangwa load centre station while a team from Nored will do maintenance work on the overhead lines and will also upgrade the Okangwena Savemor transformer.
Nored will also re-route the 11Kv cable between old Fysal and Shinime location.
The power interruption will affect the entire town of Ondangwa, Oshitayi, Okapya, Akuna, Omaalala, Omusati gopoosa, Adolfi, Oluhwa, Onyelelo-Eloolo, Okaku and Ekolwanaambo village.
Customers must treat all power sockets as live at all times, as power will be restored without prior notification.
