The Okahandja Football League (OFL) will this weekend enter its 10th round of fixtures with only four games remaining, as league leaders Young Fresh look to retain their top spot as they take on fifth-placed Smokkel Boys on Sunday.
The league that was initiated last year managed to produce some exhilarating fixtures while also grooming grassroots talent residing in the vicinity of the garden town, some of whom have also joined other national top tier leagues. The weekend fixtures will also see the league bottom-placed Okakambe Football Club searching to redeem themselves in search of a first win as they take on the rejuvenated Dollar United who are sitting comfortably in the second position.
Oshetu United’s impressive run will be tested on Saturday when they tackle California FC while Ora Eleven will be up against Mikra FC. The wounded Guardians FC who were demolished last weekend by California FC will also be searching for the massive three points as they take on Northern United on Saturday.
All weekend games are scheduled for play at the Nau-Aib Stadium.
