Three men granted bail in medicine at Rundu

Three men were granted bail in Rundu Magistrate’s Court on Friday on charges of stealing medicine from clinic at Rundu.

According to the court charge sheet the three men Hardy Rivera, Paulus Karupu and Mathias Mbambo made their first appearance in court before Assistant Magistrate Rufinus Hikerwa.

The three were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing RHZE tablets valued at N. dollars 4 767.

RHZE is used in the treatment of Tuberculosis (TB).

It’s alleged that the trio were arrested after they were found in possession of boxes containing RHZE tablets.

The trio were granted bail of N.dollars 4000 each and their case was postponed to 25 January 2022.

Public prosecutor Hilia Munzenze represented the State.
