Dhar: At least two persons died and a couple of others were injured when a crane crashed on an under-construction railway bridge in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh, confirmed a local police to Xinhua over the phone. A portion of the crane and debris from the under-construction bridge fell on two vehicles. Two people inside one of the ill-fated vehicles died in the incident.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the mishap occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district. Emergency services rushed to the scene to assist the injured and remove the debris. Local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the crane collapse and assess the structural integrity of the bridge under construction.
