34 Vietnamese Students Awarded Chinese Government Scholarship

Hanoi: The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam recently held a ceremony to present admission letters to 34 Vietnamese students who have been awarded Chinese government scholarships for the academic year 2025/26. Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei encouraged the scholarship recipients to explore China, enrich their lives with knowledge, and develop sincere friendships.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Ambassador He Wei expressed his hope that the students would find inspiration in China's modernization efforts and dedicate themselves to the cause of socialism, thereby enhancing mutual understanding between the peoples of the two nations.

Nguyen Hai Thanh, deputy director general of the International Cooperation Department under Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, expressed gratitude to China for its support of Vietnam's education sector. Thanh urged the students to value their time in China, study diligently, and aim to become both key contributors to their nation's development and a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and China.
