Samangan: Seven commuters sustained injuries, some in critical condition, as their van turned turtle in northern Afghanistan's Samangan province, spokesman for the provincial police department Hashmatullah Rahmani said Wednesday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the accident was attributed to reckless driving and occurred in Dara-i-Suf Payan district on Tuesday afternoon. This incident marks the second of its kind in Afghanistan on the same day, highlighting ongoing road safety concerns.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, a similar road mishap in the eastern Kapisa province resulted in injuries to 15 commuters. Authorities continue to urge drivers to exercise caution to prevent further accidents.
