Afghan Interim Government Leader Denounces Israeli Military Operations in Gaza

Kabul: The supreme leader of the Afghan interim government, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, has publicly condemned the ongoing military operations by Israel in Gaza City, Palestine. He labeled these actions as crimes against humanity and issued a strong denunciation.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Akhundzada criticized the continuous assaults and oppression by Zionist forces targeting women, children, and oppressed Muslims in Gaza and other Palestinian regions. He described these acts as grave crimes against humanity and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities.



In a message coinciding with Eid al-Adha, celebrated on June 7 in Afghanistan, Akhundzada reiterated his call for an end to the violence in Gaza. The leader also urged Afghan businessmen to play a part in the reconstruction efforts of Afghanistan, emphasizing the need for the country’s development and self-sufficiency. He encouraged traders and industrialists to increase their contributions to ensure Afghanistan’s progress and independence.
