Argentina Dominates Burkina Faso in Friendly Match

Accra:Argentina scored five first-half goals on their way to a commanding 7-0 victory over Burkina Faso in a friendly match held at home on Saturday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Lautaro Martinez started the scoring early in the fourth minute. Burkina Faso's Moumoune Diallo unintentionally helped Argentina by scoring an own goal, doubling the lead. Martinez then assisted Gianluca Prestianni for the third goal, followed by Nico Paz and Julian Alvarez, who added two more goals before halftime.

In the second half, substitute Franco Mastantuono scored in the 57th minute, and Giuliano Simeone completed the match with a clinical finish during stoppage time, sealing the 7-0 win.

This victory comes after Argentina‚¬„¢s 4-0 win against Bolivia on Wednesday, which was their first match since losing 1-0 to Spain in the World Cup final in July. Argentina is set to conclude the international friendly window with a match against Benin in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, marking Lionel Messi's final appearance for the national team after a career spanning over two decades.
