Barcelona: Reigning Copa del Rey holder FC Barcelona will start its title defense campaign when Hansi Flick's side visits third tier Guadalajara in the third round of the tournament on Tuesday night.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Barcelona plans to make several changes to the starting lineup that faced Osasuna on Saturday. Players such as Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Casado, and Fermin Lopez are all likely to start. Additionally, Marc Andre Ter-Stegen could make his first appearance following his back operation in the summer.

Robert Lewandowski, who was an unused substitute in Saturday's 2-0 win, remains a doubt due to a slight physical problem. Meanwhile, Guadalajara, which plays in the RFEF I division, recently lost 3-1 to Real Madrid's B-team over the weekend.

In other Copa del Rey matches, Real Madrid will travel to Talavera on Wednesday, a team that competes in the same division as Guadalajara. On Thursday, Atletico Madrid will visit Atletico Baleares, the team responsible for knocking out Espanyol in the last round. Additionally, Athletic Bilbao is set to face Ourense, a team that has already defeated top-flight rivals Oviedo and Girona.
