Beijing: Chinese police smashed over 590 organizations of the gang nature during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), according to the Ministry of Public Security on Wednesday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Ministry of Public Security reported significant progress in the crackdown on gang-related activities as part of the country's ongoing efforts to maintain social stability and security. This initiative is part of the broader objectives outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan, which emphasizes the importance of law enforcement in curbing organized crime.

The efforts have been targeted at dismantling the infrastructure of these gangs, which have been involved in various illegal activities impacting public safety.
