Beijing: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou on Tuesday, who is visiting Beijing for the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women. The discussions focused on enhancing the strategic relationship between China and Laos.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Vice President Han emphasized that China consistently views its relationship with Laos from a strategic and long-term perspective. He expressed China's willingness to collaborate closely with Laos to implement the significant agreements made between the leaders of the two nations.
Next year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Laos. Han highlighted this milestone as an opportunity to advance the development of a China-Laos community with a shared future, aiming to deliver more benefits to the citizens of both countries.
