Windhoek: Exhibitors at the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair have praised the event as an important platform for business growth, networking and marketing, citing increased customer interest and sales this year.According to Namibia Press Agency, the owner of Mwetumona Investment CC, Nangula Mwanyangapo, who has been exhibiting at the fair for more than 10 years, said the event has played a significant role in expanding her business. Mwanyangapo, who is showcasing Marula jam and various fruit and ornamental trees, said the fair provides opportunities to exchange ideas with entrepreneurs from different regions and countries. She emphasized the importance of adding value to local products, noting that her Marula jam is made from locally sourced fruit, and encouraged consumers to support locally produced goods.Meanwhile, first-time exhibitor Patricia Ushona of Green Pastures Investment described her experience at the trade fair as positive, citing strong customer support and sales. Ushona expressed excitement over the demand for the company's products, which has exceeded expectations, with stock selling out regularly during the exhibition. She noted that the favorable response from customers reflects confidence in the quality of the products offered by the business.Another exhibitor, Festus Festus, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase his craft on a large platform like the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair. Festus reported receiving numerous requests for custom crafts and some job offers, highlighting the fair's role in providing exposure and opportunities for local talent.The Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair is one of Namibia's largest business exhibitions, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the country and beyond to promote trade, investment, and entrepreneurship.
