President Hage Geingob on Wednesday extended a message of condolences to the family of the late Chief Hubert Ditshabue of the Bakgalagadi Ba Namibia Traditional Authority who died on Tuesday.

Ditshabue died at the age of 67.

In his message of condolences shared with the media, Geingob said the passing of Ditshabue is saddening for Namibia and in particular the community of Bakgalagadi and Bakgalagadi Ba Namibia Traditional Authority who have lost a good leader.

He will be remembered for his stellar leadership and commitment to the development of the community of the Bakgalagadi and the Namibian nation, said the president.

“I extend condolences to the bereaved family, the entire Bakgalagadi Ba Namibia Traditional Authority. May God grant you comfort during this difficult time of grief, may the soul of the late Chief Ditshabue rest in peace,” said Geingob.
