President Hage Geingob on Thursday wished Namibians a Merry Christmas, saying it is a season of giving, care, compassion and love.

In his message on his official Twitter page, Geingob said Namibians while celebrating Christmas should respect the COVID-19 health regulations, such as wearing of masks, practicing social distancing and most importantly, getting vaccinated.

The Head of State also urged citizens to drive safely to their respective destinations to arrive alive.
