Indonesia Condemns Israeli Strike on Iran, Calls for Restraint

Jakarta: The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday strongly condemned Israel's strike on Iran, labeling it a breach of law that undermines the very foundations of the international legal system. The ministry emphasized the potential risks posed by the attack, warning that it could exacerbate existing regional tensions and potentially trigger a broader conflict.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Indonesia has called on all parties involved to exercise the greatest moderation and refrain from actions that might further heighten tensions or lead to additional instability. The Indonesian government stressed the importance of resolving international disputes peacefully and in accordance with international law.

In light of the current situation, the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran has maintained open lines of communication with Indonesian nationals residing in Iran, advising them to contact the embassy hotline immediately should any emergencies arise.
