Arusha: Indonesia is set to host the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, which will take place in Senayan, Jakarta, from October 19 to 25, chair of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation Ita Yuliati announced on Tuesday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, 86 countries and regions have registered for the 53rd edition of the championships, marking a new record. Ita Yuliati highlighted that the event usually attracts around 70 countries and regions, making this year's registration a significant milestone.

The championship will feature over 600 athletes from around the world, who will converge in Jakarta to compete in this major international tournament. As the host nation, Indonesia is focusing on refining all aspects of its preparations. This includes ensuring arena readiness, managing technical arrangements, budgeting, and organizing training camps for the national team.
