Ireland Wolves defeated Namibia by five wickets in the third 50 over Castle Light series match played at Wanderers Cricket Fields in Windhoek on Friday, to level the series at one-all after three matches.

Ireland won the toss and elected to bowl, before skirting Namibia out for 161 runs for 10 wickets (161/10) in 43.1 overs.

Nicol Loftie-Eaton top-scored for Namibia with 65 runs from 100 balls, knocking four fours and a single six.

Stephan Baard and Malan Kruger played a supporting role to Loftie-Eton, each scoring 21 runs, but that was not enough to help Namibia put up a competitive score.

In response, Ireland scored 165/5 off 27.4 overs of their allocated 50, with five wickets to spare.

Captain Gareth James Delany smashed 72 runs off 55 balls, hitting three fours and six sixes, with Stephen Thomas Doheny chipping in with 37 runs.

The win sees the sides tied at one-all after three matches played.

Namibia won the first match by seven runs in the first match before rain washed out the second match without a ball being bowled.

The fourth match is scheduled for Sunday, while the fifth and final match will take place on Tuesday at the same venue.
