KFL Gold, Silver and Bronze division games this weekend

Phase two of the Kunene Football Gold, Silver and Bronze Divisions League is set to kick off on Saturday and Sunday at the Etoshapoort and Outjo sports stadiums in Outjo.

During this phase, the league amended rules indicate that each group will consist of three teams and each team has to play three matches resulting in three rounds with every other team in that particular group and a points table is maintained. Each match lasts for 70 minutes, comprising of two equal periods of 35 minutes.

This is according to KFL vice-chairperson Ruben Bolla Nangombe, who in a statement issued on Thursday said only players who are properly registered with the Namibia Football Association shall be eligible to participate and that shall be testified by the official E-Connect player’s card endorsed by NFA.

The Gold division consists of Pubs Football Academy, Kunene NamPol, Khaibasen FC and Etosha United, while Outjo Football Academy, Black Africa Warriors, Robber Chanties and Green Dangers FC are set to battle it out in the Silver division. Teams in the Bronze division are Young Eagles FC, Sixty Eleven, Revengers, and TST Gariseb Orlando Pirates.

Round one Saturday games will witness Young Eagles go toe-to-toe with TST Gariseb Orlando Pirates in the first match of the Bronze division, to be followed by Revengers FC versus Sixty Eleven.

In the Silver group, Outjo Football Academy will take on Green Dangers followed by Robber Chanties against Black Africa Warriors.

Pubs FC will tackle Etosha United, then Kunene NamPol go up against Khaibasen FC in the Gold division.

In round two, Sixty Eleven will take on Young Eagles, TST Gariseb Orlando Pirates will play against Revengers, and Black Africa Warriors versus Outjo Football Academy. Green Dangers will then lock horns with Robber Chanties. Khaibasen take on Pubs FC while Etosha United will close off round two games against Kunene NamPol.

Round three fixtures will continue on Sunday as Young Eagles are set to entertain Revengers with TST Gariseb Orlando Pirates to play Sixty Eleven while Outjo Football Academy will take on Robber Chanties.

Green Dangers will be up against Black Africa Warriors, Pubs FC will take on Kunene NamPol with Etosha United to play Khaibasen FC in the final game of round three.
