Outjo: Football fans in the Kunene Region are in for an exciting weekend as the Kunene Regional Football Association (KUNRFA) league prepares for Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2026 season, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, KUNRFA Chairperson Marshall Gomeb reflected positively on the opening round of the season, noting that the tournament got off to a strong and motivating start. He highlighted the success of the organization and the impressive performance of the teams and communities, especially considering that competitive football had not been played since the previous year.

Saturday's Round 3 fixtures kick off in Outjo at 12h00, with Pubs Football Club (FC) facing Sixty Eleven FC. The Outjo venue will remain active throughout the afternoon, featuring a match between Outjo Football Academy and Aweh United FC at 14h00, followed by !Ugab FC versus Epupa Zebra Stars FC at 15h00. Other matches include Young Eagles FC meeting Okarindi Komutati in Okaukuejo at 12h00, Etosha United hosting Green Dangers in Kamanjab at 15h00, and a significant clash in Opuwo between Kunene NamPol and the current league leaders, Robber Chanties, at 15h00.

Round 4 action continues on Sunday, starting with an early 10h00 kick-off in Outjo as !Ugab FC meets Okarindi Komutati. Outjo will also host Pubs FC against Aweh United at 12h00 and Outjo Football Academy against Sixty Eleven FC at 14h00. In other regional matches, Young Eagles FC will face Epupa Zebra Stars FC in Okaukuejo at 12h00, while Kamanjab will see Etosha United take on Robber Chanties.

The weekend's football excitement will conclude in Opuwo, where Kunene NamPol will meet Green Dangers at 12h00.
