VIENTIANE: Laos’ Ministry of Planning and Investment and development partners convened a meeting to discuss the 10th five-year National Socio-economic Development Plan for 2026-2030 to ensure that it aligns with Laos’ current development situation. The meeting held on Tuesday was co-chaired by Lao Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Phonevanh Outhavong and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Laos Bakhodir Burkhanov, according to the ministry’s report on Thursday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, one of the main goals is to resolve the country’s chronic economic and financial problems. It is recognized that the formulation of the national socio-economic development plan, through the participation of all parties concerned, is essential for guiding Laos on a productive development path.
At the meeting, Phonevanh called on the country’s supporters to make a strong contribution to the 10th five-year National Socio-economic Development Plan.
