Windhoek: The last round of the extended voting period commenced punctually at the TransNamib Hall polling station in Windhoek on Saturday.According to Namibia Press Agency, a significant queue of voters had already formed by 08:00 on Saturday, as observed during a visit to the polling station. The presiding officer at the station, Paul Niingwendja, reported that approximately 2,500 individuals had cast their votes on Friday.The Electoral Commission of Namibia had earlier announced on Thursday that the voting process for the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly elections would conclude on Saturday.
