Maltah¶he: A 31-year-old man was arrested at a Maltah¶he service station in the early hours of Saturday after he allegedly assaulted another man. The Namibian Police Force confirmed the incident in a crime report issued on Monday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the altercation began at a bar when the 32-year-old victim reportedly grabbed alcohol from the suspect's hands, leading to an argument. The argument escalated into a physical fight at the service station, where the victim allegedly tried to stab the suspect. In retaliation, the suspect severely assaulted him, leaving him unconscious.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving medical care. The suspect remains in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.
