MUTAMBO VILLAGE: The body of a 56-year-old man was discovered hanging from a tree in what appears to be a suicide in Mutambo Village, Kavango West region. The deceased has been identified as Hausiku Paulus Siyefeni, and authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected.According to Namibia Press Agency, the discovery was made early Thursday morning near Siyefeni's homestead. Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga of the Namibian Police Force reported that the body was found with a wire around the neck at approximately 06h00. The remains were subsequently transported to Nkurenkuru police mortuary for a postmortem examination.The next of kin have been informed of the incident, and police investigations are ongoing to gather more details surrounding the death, Muronga added.
