Akita: A man in his 60s has been injured in an apparent bear attack in Akita Prefecture, northeastern Japan, local media reported on Monday. The 69-year-old was found on Sunday lying on the ground bleeding from his head, and a passer-by alerted the fire department, public broadcaster NHK reported, citing local police.
