Oshivelo: Uruguayan manager Robert Siboldi has parted ways with Mazatlan after less than seven months in the role, the Mexican top flight club said on Friday. The Liga MX side won just two of its 17 league fixtures under Siboldi's stewardship as it missed the playoffs in the 2025 Apertura tournament.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the club issued a statement expressing understanding for Siboldi's decision, highlighting his professionalism and dedication during his tenure. Siboldi's managerial career has included roles with Tigres UANL, Cruz Azul, and Santos Laguna, among other clubs.

Mazatlan announced that assistant Christian Ramirez will take over on an interim basis. The new Liga MX Clausura season is scheduled to run from January 9 until May 14.
