San antonio: Mexico will meet Paraguay in a November friendly as both teams prepare for next year's FIFA World Cup, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) said on Wednesday. The match is scheduled to be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, on November 18, following Mexico's home friendly against Uruguay in Torreon on November 15.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Mexico will also take on Colombia in Dallas and Ecuador in Guadalajara during October's FIFA international window. These matches are part of Mexico's preparation for the 2026 World Cup, in which they automatically qualified as co-hosts alongside the United States and Canada.

Paraguay, on the other hand, has secured a World Cup berth for the first time since 2010 after finishing sixth in the CONMEBOL qualifying rounds. The upcoming friendly against Mexico offers an opportunity for Paraguay to test their squad against a qualified World Cup host as they gear up for the international tournament.
