More Than 11 Million Students Attend School in Afghanistan

Kabul: More than 11 million students are currently attending school in Afghanistan, as confirmed by a spokesman for the Ministry of Education, Qari Mansoor Ahmad Hamza.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Hamza stated that "a total of 11,175,089 students go to school in Afghanistan." This information was reported by the state-run Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) on Sunday. The education system in the country comprises 18,621 schools, among which 3,215 are private institutions. The remainder are state-owned and public schools that offer free education to students.

The Ministry of Education is committed to ensuring the provision of quality education to children across Afghanistan, as emphasized by the official.
