MTC Opens New Mobile Home in Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay

Walvis Bay:Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has launched its first Mobile Home in Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, enhancing accessibility to customer services for local residents.

According to NAMPA, the new outlet marks MTC's 42nd Mobile Home across the country and is the third such customer service point in Walvis Bay. Elton Katangolo, MTC's General Manager for Sales, Enterprise, and CRM, highlighted the establishment's role in meeting the needs of Walvis Bay's growing population and the increasing demand for accessible telecommunications services.

The new facility allows local residents to access a variety of MTC services, including SIM registration and replacement, account-related services, prepaid and postpaid options, mobile data services, device purchases, and digital financial services, all conveniently located in Kuisebmond.

Katangolo emphasized the significance of the new outlet in providing reliable and convenient customer service points, reducing the need for residents to travel to town for these services. He noted that the modern environment of the Mobile Home is designed to improve service delivery and enhance customer experience.

MTC continues to expand its national footprint, with recent developments including a new Mobile Home in Okongo, Ohangwena, and a permanent Mobile Home replacing a temporary container in Okuryangava, Windhoek. Plans for future outlets in the 2027 financial year include potential locations such as Omaruru, Otjinene, and Outjo.
