Namibia: Namibia will present investment-ready mining projects to international investors at the Investing in African Mining Indaba 2026, the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) said on Thursday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Indaba is scheduled to take place from 10 to 12 February in Cape Town, South Africa, and will bring together governments, financiers, and mining companies to explore opportunities across Africa's mining sector. 'Namibia will highlight investment opportunities in minerals including uranium, diamonds, lithium, rare earth elements, copper, graphite, cobalt, manganese and zinc,' NIPDB said in a media statement availed to Nampa.

The government is seeking partners to support exploration, beneficiation, and downstream activities within a stable policy environment. The Namibian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Gaudentia Kr¶hne. Officials will engage with investors, financiers, and technical partners to advance public-private partnerships and project development.

Namibia will host two investment-focused events during the Indaba. A mining project pitching session, organised in partnership with Rand Merchant Bank, will provide investors with direct access to selected projects. The session will take place on Wednesday, 11 February, from 09h00 to 11h00 at Portside Tower in Cape Town.

A Namibia country showcase, incorporated into the Indaba programme, will feature government and industry speakers discussing licensing frameworks, infrastructure readiness, and a pipeline of investment-ready projects. 'Government and industry representatives will provide information to support investor participation in Namibia's mining sector,' NIPDB said.
