Windhoek: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Tuesday commended the staff of Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies for the work they do for the company, saying it inspires leaders to see the level of passion they demonstrate. Nandi-Ndaitwah, during her tour of the factory in Windhoek, expressed satisfaction with the quantity of items Dinapama is producing.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasized the importance of increasing factory numbers to boost employment in Namibia. She highlighted the growth of Dinapama, noting its expansion from seven employees and five sewing machines to over 1,000 workers. She encouraged the workers to remain dedicated and to continue taking pride in their work, acknowledging their contributions to the factory's success.
Presenting the company's overview, Dinapama Managing Director David Namalenga emphasized the company's readiness to be held accountable and addressed the issue of late order submissions by some companies. He mentioned that this practice could lead to failure but praised companies that adhere to set delivery times. Namalenga underscored the importance of timely cooperation for efficient operations.
Dinapama is a 100 percent Namibian-owned garment manufacturing company, contributing significantly to local employment and industry growth.
