Ongwediva: Newly elected Ongwediva constituency councillor Johannes Ngololo has pledged to prioritise job creation, infrastructure development, and improved health services during his term in office. Ngololo told Nampa in an interview that his decision to contest the councillor position was driven by a passion to serve his community and to make a meaningful difference in the Ongwediva Constituency.According to Namibia Press Agency, Ngololo was motivated by a deep commitment to serve the people of Ongwediva Constituency. Having grown up among the community members, he understands their daily challenges and feels a strong responsibility to contribute to sustainable development, improve service delivery, and ensure that every resident has access to opportunities that improve their quality of life.Ngololo has been actively involved in community leadership and public service for several years, working closely with local structures, youth groups, churches, and development committees. This experience has provide d him with valuable insight into grassroots challenges and community expectations.He identified several pressing issues that influenced his decision to run for office, including youth unemployment, limited economic opportunities, infrastructure and sanitation challenges, access to quality healthcare and education, and the need for improved community engagement in decision-making.Ngololo has outlined job creation, youth empowerment, and improved infrastructure as his top priorities for the constituency. He shared his long-term vision of transforming Ongwediva Constituency into a modern, safe, and economically vibrant area.Ngololo plans to address challenges faced by residents by strengthening collaboration with regional and national government stakeholders, engaging private sector partners to unlock investment opportunities, promoting community participation in the planning and implementation of projects, and ensuring proper monitoring of ongoing development initiatives.
