Omaruru: The Electoral Commission of Namibia has announced the final results for the 2025 Regional Council elections in the Omaruru Constituency, located in the Erongo Region.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Alfredo Luis from People Unite for Change emerged as the winner with a total of 1,117 votes. Hendrina Magano Gebhardt of the Swapo Party secured the second position with 893 votes. The United Democratic Front's candidate, Nikodemus Nowaseb, garnered 765 votes, placing him third in the race.

Further details reveal that Petronella Liza Hengombe, representing the Independent Patriots for Change, received 263 votes. The Popular Democratic Movement's Ismael Roger Nautoro collected 473 votes. The National Unity Democratic Organisation candidate, Isboset Vincent Kahua, obtained 214 votes, while independent candidate Dennis Italeni Tjiueza garnered 237 votes. Additionally, there were 47 rejected ballots.
