The fundraising event, themed 'Rooted in Purpose,' brought together donors, business representatives, and national leaders to celebrate the foundation's 11 years of work. The One Economy Foundation, established by Monica Geingos, expressed its commitment to continuing its collaboration with partners and donors to sustain and expand opportunities for young Namibians. Geingos extended her gratitude to sponsors, donors, and guests for their contributions to the fundraising effort.
Much of the foundation's work is carried out at the #BeFree Youth Campus in Katutura, where young people have access to services and programmes focusing on health, education, violence prevention and entrepreneurship.
The campus also houses the #BeFree Cares Clinic, which provides sexual and reproductive health services, mental health counselling and health information.
