Badakhshan: Police have destroyed 93 acres of hashish farms in northern Afghanistan's Badakhshan province, provincial police spokesman Ehsanullah Kamgar said Sunday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, during the campaign, which was launched on Saturday in Baharak district, 93 acres of lands have been cleared. The officer added that the campaign would continue until the province becomes free of illegal crops.
The police have emphasized their commitment to preventing the cultivation of illegal crops, as well as the production and smuggling of drugs in the province.
