Frequent disruptions to the electricity supply in L deritz are affecting the operations of businesses across the town . Local business owners have expressed concern , telling Nampa on Tuesday that power outages not only disrupt their operations , but also result in financial losses . ‘ These outages have severely impacted our business . I can ‘ t work when the power goes off , and I can ‘ t afford a generator . I lose money every time I have to close up ,’ said Lauha Dulla , the owner of Katuka Restaurant . Another business owner , who asked to remain anonymous , said the electricity problems in L deritz have a serious impact on operations , particularly for businesses that rely heavily on machinery . The business owner said the frequent outages lead to decreased productivity and missed sales opportunities . Guesthouse owners also voiced their frustrations , pointing out the negative impact on customer experiences . ‘ When the power goes out our customers are left in the dark , leading to bad reviews and h
urting our reputation . We ‘ re deeply unhappy with these constant disruptions ,’ one guesthouse owner noted . Approached for comment , L deritz Mayor Phil Balhao acknowledged the power supply issues and explained that it is often caused by bad weather , especially on windy days . He added that the town ‘ s aging infrastructure needs repairs , which will be addressed once funds become available . ‘ Plans are underway to tackle the ongoing unplanned power outages in the town ,’ the mayor said .
