Helao nafidi: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah officially opened the 18th edition of the Helao Nafidi Business Expo on Saturday. The three-day business expo is being held under the theme 'Ignite the Future: Unearthing Youth Potential and Innovation at the Heart of Helao Nafidi - Our Border Town, a Hidden Treasure.'

According to Namibia Press Agency, Nandi-Ndaitwah highlighted that the theme underscores the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future and advocates for the recognition and nurturing of young talents. She stressed the importance of integrating the potential of young people into the nation's economy.

"Our path to sustainable development depends on how well we empower our entrepreneurs and small businesses. This expo is not just a social event; it is a platform for collaboration, learning, and growth. It is a space where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are formed, and opportunities are unlocked," stated Nandi-Ndaitwah during her speech.

She pointed out that Helao Nafidi's strategic location serves as a gateway to Angola, offering significant potential for cross-border trade and cooperation. The expo is seen as an opportunity to strengthen business ties and foster regional growth through the exchange of people, goods, services, and knowledge.

Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of fostering good relations along all borders and called on everyone to support this initiative both verbally and through actions.
