Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani are scheduled to discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine during the latter's visit to Moscow, as confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Peskov highlighted that the exchange of views between Putin and the Qatari Emir will not only cover the situation in Ukraine but will also extend to regional affairs. The Middle East, characterized by its conflict potential, will be a key topic, with Qatar's significant role in attempting to resolve various situations being acknowledged.

Peskov further emphasized the presence of a trustful dialogue between Qatar and Russia, which facilitates discussions on some of the most sensitive global topics.
