Windhoek: The Roads Authority (RA) has announced the temporary closure of the DR212 road connecting Aussenkehr and Rosh Pinah. This decision was made in response to severe washaways affecting a section of the road.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the RA issued a media statement on Friday indicating that the road will remain closed until the necessary repairs are completed. The statement highlighted that other parts of the road are extremely wet, creating slippery and hazardous conditions for motorists.

Motorists are advised to use the Noordoewer-Grnau-Keetmanshoop-Aus-Rosh Pinah road as an alternative route during the closure.
