Russian, Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Ukraine and Black Sea Shipping

Antalya: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, engaged in talks concerning Black Sea shipping, recent developments in Ukraine, and the Middle East situation during their meeting in Antalya on Saturday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, discussions emphasized the safety of navigation in the Black Sea and efforts toward achieving a truce in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The meeting also covered bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, focusing specifically on energy cooperation.

In addition to the Ukraine conflict and Black Sea shipping, Lavrov and Fidan addressed the latest developments in Syria and the Gaza Strip, aiming to evaluate and coordinate their diplomatic approaches to these regional issues.
