Beijing: Li Shulei, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with Sardor Umurzakov, the advisor on special assignments to the Uzbekistan president, in Beijing on Tuesday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Li, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, noted that the relationship between China and Uzbekistan reached a new milestone last year when the two heads of state announced it would be elevated to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era. This marked a historical new high in their bilateral ties.

China is prepared to collaborate with Uzbekistan to implement the significant consensus reached by their leaders, Li stated. He emphasized enhancing interparty exchanges, deepening cultural communication, and fostering civilizational dialogue to contribute to the high-quality development of their relationship.

Umurzakov conveyed Uzbekistan's readiness to enhance communication and cooperation with China across various fields. He highlighted the commitment to advancing bilateral ties in alignment with the direction set by the two heads of state.
