Shoigu Holds Talks With Head of Sultan’s Office of Oman Russian Security Council

Moscow: Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu met with Sultan Al Naamani, head of the Sultan's Office of Oman, to discuss the situation in the Middle East region, among other topics, according to the Russian Security Council statement released on Wednesday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the discussions between Shoigu and Al Naamani included the development of bilateral relations across various fields. The statement highlighted that a confidential exchange of views occurred regarding the situation in the Middle East region, indicating the significance of their dialogue in addressing regional issues.

The statement also announced that Oman will participate in an international security meeting under the auspices of the Russian Security Council in Moscow this coming May. This meeting is expected to further enhance cooperation and address security concerns within the Middle East and beyond.
