Nairobi:The second ordinary session of the 10th Lao National Assembly elected Sonexay Siphandone, former prime minister, as President of the Lao National Assembly on Monday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Sonexay Siphandone succeeds Xaysomphone Phomvihane, who passed away in August.
