Novorossiysk: A state of emergency was declared in Russia’s Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk on Saturday following an attack by Ukrainian drones, according to the city’s mayor, Andrei Kravchenko.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 47 drones were downed over Russia’s southern Krasnodar Territory overnight. The regional governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, stated that the attack resulted in damage to three apartment buildings and three tanks at a grain terminal.
Mayor Kravchenko announced on Telegram that a state of emergency has been introduced in Novorossiysk. He also reported that five people, including two children, were injured in the incident and are receiving necessary assistance.
Kravchenko further noted that groups have been formed to assess the damage and provide aid to those affected by the drone attack.
