Walvis bay: The Electoral Commission of Namibia has announced the final results of the 2025 Regional Council Election for the Daures Constituency in the Erongo Region. The Swapo Party emerged victorious, securing the seat with a significant lead.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Brandt Inecia Theresia of the Swapo Party garnered 1,660 votes, leading the race in the constituency. The United Democratic Front of Namibia (UDF) candidate, Honneb Gerhardt Amingo, followed with 1,134 votes. Independent candidate Karongee Abiud Uaja Rukundji received 108 votes, while Tsibeb Rudolph Rheinhardt Dankey of the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) secured 224 votes. The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) candidate, Ngatjiheue Protasius, received 82 votes.

Overall, a total of 4,209 votes were cast in the election. The results reflect the political preferences of the voters in the Daures Constituency within the Erongo Region.
