According to Namibia Press Agency, in the Jimmy Connors Group, sixth seed Taylor Fritz from the United States defeated Italy's Lorenzo Musetti, who was seeded ninth, with a score of 6-3, 6-4. This win solidified Fritz's strong position in the group stage of the tournament.

Meanwhile, in the Bjorn Borg Group, second seed Jannik Sinner from Italy triumphed over Canada's eighth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.
