The delegation of Burkina Faso to the 19th Africa India conclave which is being held from August 19 to 22 in New Delhi, defended the need for African countries to redouble their efforts in mobilizing domestic resources for sustained growth in Africa.The Minister of Economy and Finance, Aboubakar Nacanabo, insisted on the self-financing of the continent during a panel discussion on financing models in the history of growth in Africa, reports the communications service of the minister.Mr. Nacanabo certainly noted the significant contribution of classic financing models resulting from multilateral and bilateral cooperation, financial markets, the private sector and innovative financing mechanisms including public-private partnerships. But he stressed the need for African countries to redouble their efforts in mobilizing domestic resources for sustained and sustainable growth.The minister was accompanied at this panel by the National Coordinator of the Public-Private Partnership Unit and the Director of Bi lateral Cooperation.
