Windhoek: Tololo Football Club (FC) registered its first win of the Clemens Rukatero Vihajo Okamatapati Soccer League after thrashing Scorpions 5-3 at the Okamatapati School sports ground on Sunday.According to Namibia Press Agency, Tololo FC had been unable to secure a win in 10 league fixtures and only managed to collect one point during this campaign. The team head coach, Spy Vihajo, expressed that it is a turnaround strategy at Tololo FC and his team will make sure to collect points going forward. "I have a mission with this team. This is a massive win for us, and credit goes to the players and the entire technical team," he said.Vihajo stated that the team's primary focus is to remain in the league and avoid defeats in the coming matches. "I have strategies, my players are equal to the task, and the atmosphere in the team has changed. This was just the beginning, and more victories are coming," he said. He further urged supporters to rally behind the team to boost the players' morale. "This is your t eam, feel free to advise and give your support where possible," Vihajo added.On Friday, Tololo FC started its early weekend fixture against Okamatapati Combined School (CS) with a 4-2 defeat, however, on Sunday, they turned the tables around with a victory against Scorpions. Among other matches played, Omurari wa Coblenz crushed Scorpions 5-2 in the early Saturday encounter, before a high-profile fixture between Ombwa United and Ekuija Monjama, which ended in a deadlock of a goal apiece.Omurari wa Coblenz drew 0-0 with Amakhosi Boys while Okamatapati CS and Ombwa United produced another stalemate result after each side scored one. On Sunday, midtable Young Stars FC defeated Benoni 4-3 in the first match whereas Okamatapati CS crushed Classic Eleven 6-0. Ekuija Monjama produced an outstanding performance when it beat struggling Benoni FC 10-1.
