Baghlan: A total of 12 travelers sustained injuries, some in critical condition, in twin road accidents in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province on Friday, provincial police spokesman Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Burhani said Saturday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the accidents took place on the main road linking Khinjan district to the provincial capital Pul-e-Khumri on Friday afternoon. The incidents injured a dozen individuals, including women and children. The official reported that those who were severely injured have been transported to a hospital in Pul-e-Khumri city for medical treatment.
